JU ICR CLASS HISTGRY Sixteen juniors enrolled in BHS on August 30, 1954, but Louise Jensen left us shortly there- after. We have 3 shonsors, namely, Miss Sutton, X Mrs. Turgeon, and Mrs. Foster. Student council representatives are Jim 2. Bailey and Reta Strohg and they were also our A king and queen candidates. , Our first money raising project of the J' year, was a vigorous magazine campaign. We A---Q were proud of the fact that we went over our ' goal of 5700, a record for Bonesteel High. We have had charge of concessions at football and basketball games and have had several bake sales, candy sales, and sold cook books all of which aided our class funds. We were also fortun- ate in winning the radio that was given at the carnival. Members of our class participated in declamation, football, basketball and music. Kathleen S. won an excellent in the District Declarnation Contest in Colome, and Audrey Kahler won an excellent at the Hickory Stick Contest in Burke. Carol Peppel was chosen by popular vote as an A team cheerleader. .
