Suzanne Chandler Sponsor .... Mrs. Bernice Owen Latin Chattin The 1960-1961 Latin Club has been very active. This year, all of the Latin Clubs joined to form one centralized Latin Club. Its officers were chosen from the officers of the individual clubs. Also, the club has published and sponsored a newspaper. Called the Latin Chattin , and published every six weeks, it has been very popular with Bluestone students. Con- taining interesting news about the Latin classes and Bluestone in general, it is a credit to the Latin students and their sponsor, Mrs. Bernice Owen. I 12

This year the Art Club has assisted in publicity of and in decorating for various school activities. Attractive bulletin board displays and decorations for holidays and special oc- casions were among the projects of the club. The club presented its annual art department exhibi tion, drawing much favorable comment. The club strives to develop a creative out- look and to promote interest in art in the school and community. 114
