A Cross Counny ' ' League Champions Again! In nl The cross country teams had a fantastic season. All four teams, junior varsity and varsity men and women, were undefeated and claimed ESAL championships. Each team won the dual meet championships as Well as the league meet championships. For the second year in a row the women's varsity team Went on to win the NCS Division Ill championship. They finished third in the State in Fresno for their division. Senior Miesha Marzell Won league, the NCS Meet of Champions, and came in first in the State meet. All-League honors were given to Miesha Marzell, Nicole Saleta, Anjelica Randall, Sally Daganzo, and Alison Purcell. For the men's team, All-League honors were given to Alex Teekell, jeff Barbee, Bindu Frank, and Brian Collins. The men finished in 3rd place at the NCS Meet of Champions. The varsity football team completed another fine season finishing with an 8 2 overall record Q5 2 in ESAL playj The team s two losses by a combined total of seven points tarnished what could have been another 10-0 season.
