This year was even more active than the preceding one. Betty Ioslin, Kenneth Kessaris, Donald Berry, Michael Toomey, and Ned Sweet were elected by us to serve as our representatives on the Student Council. Sports such as football and basketball claimed the time and attention of many of our boys. The girls played basketball, were on the baton squad, and served as cheerleaders. Senior Year Now, at last, we were Seniors. Class President Sandy Kessaris was re- elected for a third term. The other officers for the final year were: Vice-Presi- dent, Donald Berryg Secretary, Bertha Gadboisg and Treasurer, Michael Toomey. Ned Sweet presided over assemblies very effectively as President of the Student Council. Two Senior members were added to the Council, Harry Tozier and Bertha Gadbois. The Aegis passed a very successful year under the able direction of Ianet Young, Editor-in-Chief. Robert Woods was Editor of Senior Memoirs. Our dance, The Basketball Bounce , was the social Cand financiall success of the year. There was a large attendance and all had an enjoyable evening. During the year we participated in many other activities designed to re- plenish our dwindling treasury. Banners and lapel ornaments in the school colors were sold in time for use at the Thanksgiving game. Football programs and pencils imprinted with the basketball schedule were also sold.
