BENEDICTINE'S LEFT FORWARD Al Jackson 1321 clinched the first round overtime triumph against the Hay Bookkeepers by connecting for four points in the extra session. THE FIRST ROUND Benedic- tine-Collinwood tilt Went into double-overtime, the Railroad- ers winning, 62-60. Bengals are fdark jerseys, left to right, Gibbons, Hummel and Barle. As the '59-'60 varsity basketball season came to an end, Benedictineis starting Hve consisted of one senior and four juniors. The senior was 6-1, right forward captain Conrad Barle. The juniors included 5-11, left for- ward Al Jackson, 6-2, center Jim Hummel, 5-8, left guard Dan O'Shaughnessy and 5-11, right guard Ron Sobieraj. The remaining six cagers on the 11-man var- sity were seniors 6-3, center Tony Gibbons and 5-11, right guard A1 Grigaliunas, and juniors 6-2 forward Jerry Spisakg 6-2, center Tom Watson and guards, 5-10 Hank Durica and 5-10 Dennis Andrews.
