S. and has devoted l1er time for one year to the school life of that institution. Public: In that case, one would expect that she has spent her time with the students. Batarifzn 1928: Yes, the activities of the year with the students are revealed by me. Public: IYhat is that which is near tl1e back of the book? Bafavian 1928: That is something new. The students call it a diary. It is used to record their joys and sorrows, likes and dislikes, and a sort of archive for their mementos. Public: YVhat are the silhouettesfor? Batrrviaaz- 1928: The silhouettes are used as 1ny motif, this year. Public: Oh! By the way, wl1o gets the dedication this year? BGiflf'Difl'7L 1928: I am especially proud that I am to be dedicated to the Board of Education this year. The students would like to take this time to thank the Board for their generous contribution to tl1e Batavian. It is for this reason that I have no local advertisements. Public: Won't it be nice for the parents to know that the Board of Education takes such a personal interest in the work of the boys and girls of the High School? Batavicm 1928: I hope you will read this book with the spirit of fellowship, good will and friendliness with which it is written.
