Concert Band raises mone For the past twelve years Augustana Concert Band has worked together to raise scholarship money for one of its members. Money from a free-will offering at the Augustana Concert Band Scholar- ship Concert is given to a selected member of the band. This member is chosen by the band members them- selves. The 1982 Scholarship Concert was held on March 26. The band member selected to receive this year's scholar- ship is Susan Greiner. She is a trum- pet player and is majoring in music education. Students audition for the 65 mem- ber band which performs four con- certs a year. In 1982 the Concert Band's annual tour took them to four- teen schools in Wisconsin, Minneso- ta, and Iowa during Interim Break. The band is directed by Dr. Gary Tanouye. 1.l.L.l ' Y... D
