Courses in the scientific field include general science, biology, chemistry, and physics. For those students to whom the probing of the secrets of nature offers a pleasant challenge is added the additional incentive which the Junior Academy of Science affords. A local unit of this national society has been established at Aquinas. This year Audrey Hardiman presided at the local and at the state meeting in Milwaukee, Wis- consin. Each year its members, true to the definition that science is an orderly arrange- ment of knowledge gleaned, present scientific projects as reports.
