Freshmen When the freshmen came to Aquinas in the fall of 1970, they were unaware of the changes they would have to make from the learning processes of grammar school. The high school situation is completely dif- ferent, but the freshmen showed that they were able to adapt. Their first task as a class, to elect officers, was accomplished very smothly. This made the accomplishing of other tasks, such as the football home- coming bonfire, dances, a picnic, and a beach trip, much easier. The freshmen year is perhaps the hardest year to get through.
