The girls check library attendance permits. check books out, slip and shelve books as they are returned, Work with periodicals and pamphlets, count circulation, alphabetize book cards, file catalog cards, arrange bulletin boards, write overdue notices, and collect fines. RTIST LEAGUE The time-consuming efrorts of the Artist League may be observed on the hall bulletin board and blackboard, displaying a different theme each week. The members also make posters, announcements, and displays for other clubs and perform any other necessary art work for the school. The League is open to all students with a Hair for art. FUTURE TEACHERS During their study halls. student teachers can be seen hurry- ing to assist teachers, for that is the main job of a Future Teacher at Hanna High. Working with teachers helps a girl to acquire pride in teaching as a profession, to develop sincerity and en- thusiasm for teaching, and to understand the varied role of educa- tion in our society. The second job of a Future Teacher is to aid as a guide at Open House during National Education Week. Only juniors and seniors with a C average or above are eligible.
