The girls Cross Country Team is a ten ember team coached by Les Ko- auch and assistant coach Les Ko- auch Sr. The team consists of Robin utz, Lori Kuhni, Tammy Trowbridge, teresa Pane, Stacy Vukovcan, Amy Jrdo, Anita Olujich, Angie Abidilla, ane McNeil, and Renay Oshop. The captain, Robin Mutz, qualified fr the state championship with a thir- eenth place W.P.l.A.L. finish, placed iurth in lVl.A.C. championship, fifth in e Neshannock Invitational, and thir- teenth in the Central Catholic Invitational. Lori Kuhni placed second in the county meet, fourth at Neshannock In- vitational, and fifth in the M.A.C. Championship. The team itself placed first at the Neshannock Invitational, M.A.C. championships, and the Beaver Coun- ty lnvitational. They also placed third at the Northern Invitational and Cen- tral Catholic invitational and placed sixth in the W.P.l.A.L. Championship. Mr. Weischedel, coach of Am- iridge's girl's Track Team, has been fiTh Ambridge Track for Two years. reviously, he coached for Two years IT Richland. His assisTanT Trainer is Les oTouch. The girls run during The spring 1onThs of March, April and May. They pracTice very hard every week 'londay Through Friday from 2:30 To 5:30. Our senior Team members are Mi- chelle HiTT and Robin lVluTz, who have been very successful. Mr. Weischedel feels The girls Team has progressed very well because of more people coming ouT for Track.
