The charges of Coach Dallas Webb felt the might of an experienced Lock Haven wrestling team in their first match of the season, with only two Altoona grapplers breaking into the scoring column, Frank Rhone and Don Miller. Next, the Altoona matmen scored a parade of falls to win their second match of the season at the expense of Morrison Cove, 57-i2. The Lions racked up seven falls, two decisions and one forfeit in turning back the Cove matmen. Straighten out those knees, boys! Enya' 9 The activities for the boys' intramurals began on November 30, 1959 and continued to March 3, 1960. Boys wishing to play formed basket- ball teams in their home rooms. Those boys in a home room with an insufficient number of play- ers formed teams of individuals. Participating in these intramurals, all sponsored by Mr. Wolfe and Mr. Paul Morse, were 35 to 40 home rooms A rare picture of a rare eleven-leg camel. Physical education promotes good clean sports involving the participation of 300 different boys. Approximately 130 contests were held in both the boys' and girls' gym. Home room 112 of the Tuesday night group defeated home room 214, 37-35 in the championship game.
